Weekend Z work

Pulled the plenum, popped the 370cc’s out of the fuel rail, installed new plenum/rail o-rings, z1 adapter kit and new style Subaru STI 550cc yellow tops, soldering new pigtails for the injectors.. CZP chip is enough route!  Should be here this week I think

   

 

New Nissan World Record

Nissan has set the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the fastest drift using the specially tuned MY16 Nissan GT-R by entering a drift at a speed of 304.96 km/hr. Masato Kawabata, the Japanese drift champion series, set the new world record to clinch the top spot from former record holder Jakub Przygoński of Poland. The drift attempt was held during a special event that took place at Fujairah International Airport, UAE.

New widebody

TwinZ just announced the new, highly anticipated, widebody kit for a 2+2

Full TwinZ Design 300ZX 2+2 Widebody kit is done.  They ended up with 70mm per side on the rears!

Weekend work

Managed to remove the steering rack and rebuild one good one from the two I had.  Also did new front rotors and brakes while I was at it, great deal from Rock Auto

Always #inProgress

Happy day! Some parts arrived from Rock Auto and I found a place that has a chip map for the tune I want.

I’ve started throwing around the idea of relocating the turbos,  since when they die for good (they’re nearly there now) it will mean an engine pull.  So far my 3 ideas are:
1. Above intercoolers
2. Where battery and mastercylinder are, relocating those as well
3. Where intercoolers currently are and running a fmic between the two

Not sure if I will ever do it,  but it’s nice to dream up projects sometimes
